Breath Work & Cold Therapy
Breathwork or Pranayama has been practiced for centuries throughout many cultures. Your breath is the bridge between your mind and body. Proper breathing is vital to a long healthy life as well as helping to control your nervous system on a day-to-day basis. Pranayama is the foundation of yoga and meditation. Somatic Breathwork Journey-
Join Michelle as she leads you on a Breathwork Journey to harness the energy and warmth of summer. This session will help get you energetically aligned and in a beautiful flow state, helping you find clarity and focus for growth as well as deep relaxation.
We will start with a description of why and how to use the breathing methods, including the benefits, and contraindications for breath retentions. You will be guided through a short meditation to relax you into your journey, and time to enjoy the sensations afterwards.
As we start breathing with the specially selected music you may feel sensations, have thoughts of visions, and feel complete relaxation and sometimes pure bliss and/or euphoria. The outcomes are different for everyone as it is a deeply personal experience. Breathing in this manner is a powerful tool in the release of stress and anxiety. Every effort will be made to ensure you feel safe and supported throughout your journey no matter where it takes you.
